Printers are awful. While technology has marched on and everything has become easier to use, printers remain steadfast enemies of users around the world. When you first boot up your printer, it works fine. It may even do what you tell it to do. Eventually, though, it's going to stop functioning. When this happens, your first step will be to download new drivers. If you have an Epson printer, the arcane ritual you'll need to get through will involve downloading Epson EasyPrint. While it can help, the name is nothing but a lie.
You will never encounter anything easy related to a printer, and this is driver is a great example. First and foremost, you cannot merely run it. Sometime, for reasons of its own, it will decide that it doesn't want to install on your computer. Other times, it will install but not run. If you're lucky, you'll just need to put your Windows 10 computer in compatibility mode so you can run the program. That's if your lucky - you never really can tell if this computer program feels like doing its job.
If you are lucky enough to get this thing to run, it will make your installation process easy. You'll click a few buttons and get a functioning printer until it decides it no longer wants to function. Look at this program as a replacement for your original install disks, and nothing more. It will not make your printer easier to use. It may not even make your printer possible to use. It will, however, keep you on the cycle of dealing with printer problems. In the end, that's the job of all computer users.
